MMA Gloves are bag/sparring gloves. These gloves have a padded “bar” in the palm of the hand to help with the grip and fist formation. They are made Polyurethane with a mesh palm for breath-ability. They also have a wrist wrap-around held by Velcro to add comfort.

Drawbacks
Because these gloves do offer open fingers, students tend to open their hands more while fighting. An improperly blocked kick often leads to jammed fingers. This is not the gloves fault, however these gloves do not prevent this type of injury.

Sizing chart for MMA Gloves
Sizing for gloves is measured by the hands width across. This can be measured from the back of the hand, from the pinky finger to the index finger.
Because the material does stretch, there is a small amount of fluctuation between sizes (a larger person can wear the same size as a smaller person, it will just feel tighter).
- Small/Medium: 3.5″-4.5″
- Medium/Large: 4.5″-5.5″
- Extra Large: 5.5+”
